Galleria of Smiles offers three levels of sedation to help you feel comfortable during your time with us.
Nitrous Oxide – This is a gas that you will breath in before your treatment starts. You will remain conscious, but you will feel much more relaxed. This is the mildest of the sedation options we offer.
Oral Sedation – This type of sedation comes in pill form, and you will take it one hour before your appointment is set to begin. This gives the sedation a chance to take effect. The sedation level can range from mild to moderate depending on how strong the medication is. It will take several hours to wear off.
IV Sedation – IV sedation gives us the ability to tailor the amount of sedative you are given throughout your procedure. If you start to feel something you shouldn’t, we can increase the level of sedation right in the chair. You are sure to have a comfortable experience with IV sedation from Galleria of Smiles.

Dental implants are different from dentures. They are not necessarily better or worse. Each situation calls for a different remedy, and there are times that implants are more effective, and times that dentures are more effective. There are even instances where dental implants are integrated with dentures.
