I have a little whitening kit and it’s just like little strips. I just put it on my teeth for an hour and a half to two hours and it whitens it quite a bit. I always used to use the Crest Whitestrips and it just … it worked, but it didn’t give that like, “Oh wow, my teeth are actually white.” These do. For my work I have to have a good smile and just a good appearance and so it’s actually helped me a lot because I really hated smiling. My teeth weren’t horrible, they just weren’t what I wanted. Now they’re just kind of perfect now.

Been coming for a long time. They’re like a family. Dr. Emami is very sincere, and personable, and cares about you and your family and always asking … It’s amazing how many patients he actually has, but he remembers things about each family member and asks you about it. So that’s that side of it, but then also the quality of care and work and willing to do whatever needs to be done to make sure you’re not in pain, just constantly putting his arm on yours, “Are you okay? Are you feeling that? Is it all right?”, and just the follow up, and just a great all around experience. It’s not a scary place. It’s a place where they strive to make your life better through the health of your mouth. I recommend them all the time.

Coming here to see Dr. Emani for the last ten plus years that I’ve been coming to him, every time I come in, he’s always complimenting me on how great my smile looks and how I feel. I never have any dental issues. I come in for a normal cleaning, because he showed me how to take care, and how to have that great oral hygiene through the years. So I’ve just been able to prevent a lot of issues from happening, and continue taking great care of my teeth.

He’s always right upfront with you. He tells you exactly what he can do to help you, and he works with you. I had quite a challenge with my teeth, and he gave me some options, which was great, and he was very clear about them. He works with you financially, which is good. He always lets you know that he’s there for you. He’s a great doctor that way.

I always feel very confident and comfortable in his presence. I know that I’m in good hands with him. I guess it’s the attention to detail in making me feel comfortable. I feel when I walk in that they’re really glad to see me. They make me feel like, God, they’ve been waiting for me all week and here I am. I just they make me feel like they care about me and that I’m important. That’s nice to walk in. Lot of people don’t like going to the dentist, but I always look forward to coming in to visit with the staff. They’re great. Absolutely great.

After four attempts at ortho, just regular ortho, bands and brackets, and I still didn’t have the exact smile I wanted, at 43 years old, I decided that I was actually going to go for the smile I wanted and have Invisalign done, which was kind of cool, because at my age, you don’t really want to have the traditional bands and brackets done, and everybody think, “Oh my gosh, this crazy old woman is going to have braces done.” So, I did the Invisalign, and nobody knew what I was doing. It’s easy, breezy, take it out when you want to eat, put it back in when you’re finished. I had it done in eight months, and now I have the smile that I always wanted.

If you think that you’re too old to do it, you’re not. My mother-in-law was 55 and she did Invisalign, so it’s a cool product.

The crown process is very smooth. They do most of their crowns in-house. I mean you come in the morning and then you come back in the afternoon for the permanent. Just taking one day as opposed to having coming back several times. That really means a lot. They know what they’re doing, and I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I tried the CPAP machine for about a year and just was not having good results and really did not sleep well for about a year. And so I’d heard the ad and I guess I was pretty desperate for something and so came and visited with Dr. Emami and felt positive he could help me. And then I didn’t know how it would take, the process. It takes a month or two, send off, get the device made. And I was going on this sailboat trip and I was gonna be in confined quarters with my wife for two weeks and didn’t want to take the CPAP and my snoring was bad so I wanted to try to get this worked out before that. And he worked with me to get it done. They really went the extra mile to accommodate me.

And so once we got the ortho, we met it seemed like every other week to tweak it. There’s a process that you’re bringing the jaw forward to help you snoring and several sleep tests, little tests they send you home with. And I’m sure those weren’t inexpensive so, several of those and he kept tweaking it and working and so yeah, the price on the front seems high, but when you look at all the man hours he devoted to me, it was well worth it and the result has been good.

It’s the total package and these days it’s just hard to find somebody that actually does what they say they’re gonna do. And so I’d recommend him, especially for the sleep apnea, if folks can foot the initial costs, it’s well worth it to not have to haul the CPAP machine around anymore.

I was having a lot of headaches and had a jaw injury in the past and it dislocated my jaw or fractured it at some point. In order to fix the clicking and the popping and the pain I was having in my jaw, he recommended that braces would be the best way to do that, so we did that. Not only did it … aesthetically it was more pleasing, but also got rid of the pain. I don’t have headaches anymore and the clicking in my jaw is almost completely gone. I can eat things like crunchy things specifically, where I couldn’t eat those before because it would hurt my jaw so bad. I can eat a lot more things and I smile all the time. I laugh all the time. I always like to have a good time. Now that the braces are off and I feel more comfortable with myself and it’s easier to smile because my jaw doesn’t hurt, so I’m able to … I feel I can enjoy my life more at this point.

When I initially came here, the two front teeth, when I was in my teens, got knocked out, and there were pins put in. Those pins eventually decayed the bones through titanium pins and at the time, that was probably the best you could do. Over the years, the implant surgeries got much better. He was able to remove all the teeth on the uppers, but six implants in and structure in such a way that the comfort level’s there, and it just … In my mouth, it just feels better, because when you have this work done, if they put partials in or things like that, you lose part of your palates or your taste goes away, I wanted something permanent.

I have to give talks occasionally, and there’s nothing worse than having to worry about your tooth falling out or something. This was the right thing to do, because it had actually gotten into my sinus cavity, and so we had to do a sinus pack and all. All that was done here. Within a year, I’m happy. These teeth are pretty solid. I’m not quite used to it. I think I can bite through a metal fork now if I had to. Zirconium and they don’t stain. It’s a good feeling.

Okay, well, at first my teeth were crowded. They were able to shift all my teeth around. They didn’t have to pull anything. As the first time getting braces, you’re like, “How do I look with braces? What will it be like? Does it hurt? Does it hurt to eat?” They try to make it as comfortable as possible. They really did the best they could to make it comfortable. It’s worked really, really good and really improved my smile so much.

Dr. Emami and his staff are very, very friendly with children. I actually have four children, ranging from 10 years old, down to three years old. They’re excited to come to the dentist, which I think is saying a lot for children to want to come to the dentist. In fact, they’re so excited they want to write it on the calendar, and they want to know when they’re coming.

The hygienist actually got my three year old to do bite wings, which is hard to get, I think some adults to do bite wings, but she was so good with her, and so comforting to her, that she actually had her in the chair. I was out in the waiting room, she was in the chair doing bite wings. Did a fantastic job with her for her first check up.

They’ve just been very encouraging to have them come in, and even when my daughter was two, they would have her sit in my lap, they would get her comfortable with the dentist office, and the staff, and the process of what goes on here.

They are very thorough with what they do. You don’t have to spend a lot of time waiting in the waiting room, which is another bonus here. They’re very competent, they’re very caring, and I trust this practice with my children and myself.

I had a experience where one of my tooth in the front fell out, and I came to Dr. Emami, and I knew I couldn’t work with the … the work I do is talking to patients. Well, they put an implant in there, and just improved my smile.

That even brought my inner side just more better on the outside, so it really helped me. Just made me feel comfortable with myself, even though I was, but it even brought it out more better. The experience of the work that they do is so professional.

My all time mission every time a patient comes in is to make sure that they’re comfortable and they had a visit that they’ll never forget. When a patient comes and sees me they’re usually getting like a crown or a filling or something major done and I want them to be comfortable the entire procedure. Dr. Emami and Dr. Justin are both extremely, extremely educated in everything dentistry. They can look at an x-ray and tell you everything you need. They’re very precise in their treatment, they’re good at their treatment they do. They have very electric personalities, they’re awesome dentists, they’re people who make going to the dentist enjoyable, not only bearable, but enjoyable to do. They’re very comforting towards their patients, it’s all about their patient comfort here.

If it was say, like I had dental insurance but if there was any extra money that I had to come up with that was probably what made me anxious and they always worked with me on that. The fact that they were such a good team and now I see Dr. Jeston and he’s just as qualified as his father. He’s a wonderful dentist. I feel very comfortable with him and so I’ve not really had any anxiety about any of the work that they’ve done because I’ve trusted them to do what I thought was right. They didn’t do anything unnecessary. Everything was very necessary for my health.

My mouth was really small, so it was hard to chew and stuff. We just decided the palate appliance to go, because it’d just widen my mouth. Braces just to get the pretty smile, and I had problems with headaches and stuff, so the braces also helped with the headaches. It was just really, really crooked, and just awful, and I would not smile at all, and now I just love smiling. You can’t get me away from the cameras now. I love it.

For one thing, I know that oral health has a lot to do with even your initial health. I know your teeth are kind of a gateway to disease and problems. I wanted to make sure I was taking care of that.

They went in, did extensive X rays, and found all kinds of things that needed to be done. I had a couple of dead teeth in the very front. I’d broken one of those off when I was 10 years old. They replaced the front four teeth, and then they did some crown and some implants. Because I had teeth that were missing. Those really made a difference in my chewing. I noticed that was a big help there, after those came in.

Makes a much better feel and bite, and they were very careful how they lined those up and spent a lot of time fitting those in. Dr. was, really wanted to be precise. That’s what I liked about him is how meticulous and hard to please himself, he would work very hard to make sure that it got just right.

I really appreciated that.

I like that as soon as you walk in the door they greet you with a big smile and they say hello and ask how everything is going, and there’s never a long wait time. They take the time as they’re doing work on you to explain what’s going to happen next and what they’re doing and why they’re doing it, so you fully understand what going on and it actually helps you relax.

I had old fillings from the 1980s and they took pictures of it and showed me how the fillings were cracked and they weren’t holding very well and so to preserve the health of my teeth he removed those fillings and he gave me new fillings and I have not had any problems with any of it. It was a very easy experience and it wasn’t difficult or anything. I didn’t have to take any pain medicine afterwards, went straight to work and he even did one of them without any numbing. There was no problems at all, and the atmosphere is just very, very welcoming.
